This Mad Desire is Mackenzie Kristjon’s rock and roll brand based in Hamilton, Canada. He has toured in North America, Europe, and Iceland. This track was recorded during the pandemic in 2021 and features Leslie Ramsay-Taylor (R&B singer from Toronto) and Dan Konopka (Grammy-winning OK Go) on drums. Dan also mixed the track in Los Angeles. Dan has been a frequent collaborator on many tracks on TMD’s last release American Dreamand also on the upcoming album Open Hearts Open Minds. http://thismaddesire.net
The track is upbeat with lyrics that focus on the restlessness in society these days also touching on revolutions, using the French Revolution as a backdrop but ultimately reflecting the wide range of protests that have roiled American society especially since 2020.
Victim Appreciation Night has also been remixed by CasWienbren, caskeyboardproducer, owner and manager of See See Beats, who is a 46 Million streamed, multi-genre producer and classical and jazz trained keyboardist from New York City.
